We had an amazing time at Paesanos Lincoln Heights where Morris Kate & Sons hosted LLS Man of the Year Fundraiser.
This event was very fun but also meaningful. The funds were raised to help the LLS which is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The participant for Man of the Year Michael Shultz, join as a contest because unfortunately in his family they have been affected with these diseases, so he did not doubt for a second, to help the with the cause so they can continue their research and to help more people.
The fashion show was a complete success, glamorous, fancy and also, there were models of all ages and the most amazing Fur Jackets that you can imagine.
There was also a raffle with amazing prices!! Sadly, I did not win any! Hopefully next time ! This type of events make us conscientious about all the help that our society should give to the associations and the people in unfortunate circumstances. Just a statistic that was shared at the event, is that every three minutes in the United States someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer and the goal is to reduce that number to zero.
