As you can see I have new obsessions every week, this one is all about the blues, in all its shades but mainly baby blue, I chose this look from the NORDSTROM annual sale, jeans and top are TOPSHOP, see the options below.
I can tell a good quality denim from a cheap one with my eyes closed, I rarely go for stretching materials but these were different. I try to stay away from Lycra denim, because they stretch out to the point that I’m pulling them up all the time, mainly from the legs, which are rather thick, thus every step they slip like ½ inch down, so annoying ! the difference with these jeans is that they are high waisted with a denser material, in other words they stay put and hold your ASSets where they are supposed to be, no kidding, I’m telling you I walked all over this place without touching them to readjust the fit.
Lets talk about the embroidered flowers, very delicate not too eye catching just the perfect amount of trend, their position and color are perfect, strategically placed hence they don’t steal attention from the rest of the outfit.
This top tho! it has the elements of a t-shirt but with spaghetti straps and a few holes here and there, I can almost hear my dad speaking his mind about it. To be honest, while doing this pictures I thought it was a mistake picking this one out, the straps kept falling off all the time, I though that it was going to be a long day fighting gravity but I gave up, the girl who was helping with the lighting told me that it looked cool and sexy, wow!! she fixed it! lol, so I stopped touching the strings.
Here a few of my favorite tops, apparently every one is going for baby blue, this color is flying off the racks.
Last but not least the white mule! or slides, whatever suits you better, just make sure they are in white, this style is dope they go perfect with almost anything, I don’t really like the ones that look too much like something your grandma would wear, (but I still pulled out a few )to me is either they are high or flat like these Gucci’s inspired.
