One of my wardrobe staples is the Blazer, an all year round favorite for most of us, I’m sure that you, just like me have a special section in your closet arranged by seasons, colors, textures and styles, well this year you will be adding one more to your collection, the Boyfriend Plaid Blazer, THIS style is HOT now, so hot that is flying off the racks, my opinion is that not all the retailers have come with the the perfect pattern yet, see, there are certain rules to consider a blazer the It blazer of the season and yes Target did it again.

First of all the FIT, it must look overly long and loose on you.
The PLAID pattern, not your simple squares, as you can see this blazer has 2 patterns, together they achieve the busy retro print we want.
COLOR, the 3rd and very important component of the blazer, choose something in the scale of grays and browns, Burgundy and blue fine lines tight the pattern together giving that visual appeal to your look.
Now how to wear it, this definitely depends on your preference, but I’m planing to play with this blazer in more than two ways, here you can see one look more casual than the other, adding the turtle neck in this color plus the mom jeans gave it that 90’s look, that this trend is getting its inspiration from, the slippers make the whole outfit to appear effortless.

In this option the white shirt with the front bow makes it much more dressy, considering that I’m wearing the same jeans, now if you want to make it look more feminine switch the boots for suede stilettos Uff you’ll look stunning!
Other ways to wear this blazer:
with a DENIM skirt and the white logo tee, loafers or ankles boots.
SHORTS and black stockings, over the knee boots, plain turtle neck top and don’t forget the belt.
HIGH RISE pants or leggings and cropped tops.
But please NEVER wear this trend with bodyCon dresses or pleated chiffon skirts, I’ve seen girls trying to pull it off but this baby doesn’t go well with a lot of fabrics, its not your classic black blazer.
Thank you for reading! if you like it you heart it! laters babes!💕
