Ya a menos de una semana para la presentación de la colección Act II de Chanel, ya estaba yo ansiosa, y más porque sería la primera vez que París enviaría el previo de la colección completa! simplemente no podía dejarlo pasar. De mis casas de moda CHANEL siempre ha sido mi consentida, todo empezó desde niña cuando me vaciaba las botellas del No 5 de mi mamá mientras hojeaba las revistas de moda; sacos en tweed, perlas, broches, bolsos, zapatos, me han acompañado hasta este día, por eso todo un acontecimiento ver que nos proponen los sucesores de nuestra Gurú.
El día del evento
Como es costumbre en Neiman Marcus, ruedan la alfombra roja a sus invitados, bocadillos y champagne van y vienen pero lo importante esta al fondo, déjenme pasar! por fin entro al showroom y gloria! lo que había visto por medio de patallas no le hacía justicia a lo que colgaba de los percheros, la construcción y materiales son una obra de arte. De inmediato detecto mis piezas favoritas, el azul en diferentes gamas me hace ojitos, los mules de mezclilla, sneakers multicolores, gorras en tweed, carteras en colores brillantes y mis adorados broches, en camelias, doble C, y Choupette está de regreso y ahora con cohete (se venden por separado) admito que esta vez si me gusta. De ahí nos pasamos a ver la Gabrielle, de la cual no había visto imágenes PREVIAS y juraba sería tal como la describían, una verdadera COCO, un homenaje a su personalidad, La Bolsa del año! ya la quería tener, sería posible que hagan algo mejor que la clásica 2.5 ?! nope, no tan rápido, no es lo que esperaba, para mi es mucho Karl y poco Gabrielle, pero en gustos se rompen géneros, tal vez le sigan haciendo modificaciones hasta que encuentren la combinación perfecta de los elementos que definían COCO CHANEL. Ustedes opinan?!
Como siempre el detalle para los invitados ! para los que no han probado esta fragancia, Jersey de CHANEL, búsquenla! al inicio te recuerda al clásico N0 5, pero es más fresca y ligera, pruébenla, les va a encantar!
Así que amigos esto fue mi experiencia, al final me di cuenta que lo que me gustó más fue haber saludado a gente linda que comparte la misma pasión por todo lo que tenga que ver con CHANEL. À bientôt!

At almost less than a week for the presentation of the CHANEL Act II, I was beyond anxious, for the reason that it would be the first time that Paris would send the complete preview to NEIMAN MARCUS La Cantera ! I just could’t let this one pass!
The day of the event
At Neiman Marcus, they always roll the red carpet to their guests, and this time was not exception, Hors d’oeuvres and champagne greeted us, but to me, the important thing was happening behind the hangout area, excuse me, coming through ! I finally entered the showroom and voilà! What I’ve had seen through screens back in fashion week, did not do any justice to what was hung on those racks, I immediately detected my favorite pieces, blue in different shades like the denim mules, multicolored sneakers, tweed sport hats, handbags in bright colors and my so beloved brooches, camellias, double C’s, and even Choupette, which is back and now with a rocket (sold separately) I admit that I like the little cat better this time.

From there, we went to see the Gabrielle bag, I didn’t know what to expect, I hadn’t seen any photos before just read about it, and I swore it would be as described, a true COCO, a tribute to her personality, The bag of the year! I wanted to have it ! would it be possible to repeat the success of the classic 2.5?! well, not so fast, it’s not what I expected, for me it’s a lot more like Karl and less like Gabrielle, but that’s my opinion, maybe its a process until they find the perfect combination of the elements that defined Mademoiselle COCO CHANEL.
Any thoughts?
This was my experience, at the end I realized that what I enjoyed the most was to hangout with nice and fashionable attendees that share the same passion for everything CHANEL.
