Let me show you around my most favorite place in beautiful San Antonio yes MY MOST FAVORITE ONE, the Tobin Center of the Performing Arts, a world class venue! which is full of contrasts, this is what makes it perfect, look, it was and old building that had a massive renovation, keeping its original story attached to a futuristic esplanade, you’ll see more in the next images.
For now let’s talk about Fash! and this post is all about the asymmetrical top and all that comes with it, ruffles, bows, straps and different fabrics, all I can say is that they make a big statement.
The cool thing about this design is that you don’t really need to worry about the bottoms, if the top is too busy, pair it with shorts or jeans but if it’s a more simpler piece with only a few extra details, wear it with skirt that has a plain design.the way I wore it is with the jeans, adding this dope red statement earrings courtesy of The GlassHouse thank you! these denim beaded pompoms heels from Carolina Herrera are also a show stealer, they make this cute sound every step of the way, clish-clash fabulous! the last accessory my beloved CHANEL envelope clutch in navy caviar leather. Très chic!💕
Okay Enough about my outfit, let’s go back to the Tobin Center, this is the esplanade I was telling you about, but honestly you have to watch the video! this place has a special vibe. Sometimes I grab a bite and come down here sit on the bench and watch this ginormous screen, hey, it’s a cool way of knowing what shows are coming to town, besides most of the time is empty, but wait, hay más!!
Tadaaaaa! its adjacent to the riverwalk! Isn’t this amazing ! this part of the river is very tranquil and peaceful you’ll find joggers, dog walkers and some other folks having a break from their offices, Lucky them having this as their backyard!
After all this walk I ended up at Ocho inside of the Havana hotel, this restaurant has a singular design, very cute and eclectic, only a few steps from the Tobin, and you guessed it right, next to the river, although is not at the same level, the Ocho is raised above but still with a great view.
And this was my day around this side of Downtown, don’t forget to visit their page to check the upcoming events and buy your tickets ahead time because they fly, I’m getting tickets for the Ballet season and you ?
