We had the opportunity to visit Carvana, which recently opened in San Antonio, they are already present in different cities in the US like Phoenix, Atlanta, Orlando among others, but this one is 100% automated.
Its futuristic concept is very original, it’s a completely different, practical and not tedious way to buy USED cars, the process goes as follow, the car is order through its website, seven days later, you’ll receive it at their “vending machine” AKA store, (or at your house if you wish, but you would miss all the fun) when you get there, a Carvana associate will check final details with you or answer any question you might have, then they give you the token for you to insert it in the machine, which displays the list of new owners that will arrive that day to pick up their vehicle, click on yours and here is when real fun begins! you can see on the screen how the car is brought downstairs from the glass tower in automated platforms to the assigned exit not without finalizing with 360º turn just for you before entering the bay where it will await for you, on a personal note, the only thing this process is missing are the lights and music show while doing that little turn, I mean, it got us all excited already! Jokes apart, It’s a fun process.
Although it’s an ultra modern concept it continues to maintain the personal touch with a five-star customer service, they are attentive and cool, another thing that we liked about Carvana is their commitment to help the city where they have a presence, they are interested in participating in different events with the purpose of supporting their community.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar a Carvana, que recientemente abrió en San Antonio, ya las podías encontrar en distintas ciudades, como Phoenix, Atlanta, Orlando y otras más pero esta última es 100% automatizada.
Es otra opción de compra y venta de autos usados, su concepto futurista es muy original, es una manera completamente diferente, práctica y no tediosa de adquirir autos, el proceso va así, el auto lo ordenas a través de su página de internet y lo recibes en su tienda AKA “vending machine” (o en tu casa si así lo deseas, pero te perderías de toda la aventura ) cuando llegas a recogerlo insertas una moneda en una maquinita, la cual ya tiene la lista de nuevos dueños que llegarán ese día por su auto, por medio de una pantalla ves como empieza el proceso automatizado de bajar el auto en plataformas desde la torre de vidrio terminando con una vuelta de 360º antes de llegar a su salida asignada, lo único que a mi gusto le hizo falta es un show de luces y música digo, ya estamos prendidos! en verdad ¡Es muy divertido! es una experiencia ultra moderna que sigue manteniendo el toque personal con un servicio al cliente de cinco estrellas.
Algo que también nos gustó mucho es su compromiso para ayudar a la ciudad donde tienen presencia, ya que es una empresa que se interesa en participar activamente en distintos eventos con el propósito de apoyar a su comunidad .
